Jennifer's Story

Jennifer was diagnosed at 14 years old with severe scoliosis; her condition was so painful that she remembers even the slightest movement would “almost bring me to my knees.” Her spine condition continued to deteriorate over the next decade, and Jennifer’s pain and subsequent depression worsened as well. She and her family continued to seek help from numerous doctors over the years until she finally met one who wanted to try a minimally invasive surgery to straighten her spine. Fortunately, the surgery was a success, and Jennifer was able to stand up straight for the first time in years. To learn more about Jennifer’s story, watch her video here:

Marc's Story

A combination of scoliosis, a motorcycle accident, and years of sports-related injuries resulted in a lifetime of chronic back pain for Marc. "I couldn't ride a motorcycle or play a round of golf or play with my grandchild," said Marc. After consulting with numerous doctors, the active 65-year-old opted for back surgery. Marc's surgeon prescribed the Firebird® Deformity Correction System to correct the spine curvature and fixate the affected portion of the spine. Marc's surgeon also inserted donated human allogenic bone graft material called Trinity ELITE®, which helped facilitate the bone fusion process.

Today, Marc is back playing golf and volunteering with Wounded Warriors, and happily declares he's "no longer in pain." To learn more about Marc's story, watch his video here:
