 Surgeon Training

The objective of the Corporate Surgeon Training Program is to deliver training that is relevant to the needs of today's healthcare professionals. The program features direct interaction with knowledgeable personnel, including product managers, engineers, and executive management. Our goal is to provide learning opportunities to help improve clinician proficiency and patient care. 

The amenities of the Orthofix Institute, combined with access to training and education staff, product specialists, and research and development engineers, ensure that the program will deliver instruction needed for the safe and effective application of Orthofix medical devices and biologic solutions. Although the agenda for each program with vary in accordance with the specific needs and objectives of the attendee, each program may include the following instructional elements:

  • Product rationale and surgical technique instruction
  • Hands-on practice and instruction in dry-lab environment
  • Hands-on practice and instruction in cadaveric environment
  • ​Clinical discussion with training staff, product designers and executive management
