Community Involvement

At Orthofix our mission is to improve patients' lives by providing superior reconstructive and regenerative orthopedic and spine solutions to physicians worldwide. One way we do this is through our charitable outreach programs.

Through the efforts of our corporate employees, our business partners, and the surgeon community, our company has provided medical missions and organizations with products, resources and personnel. Some notable examples of our philanthropic work and support of medical missions include:
  • Providing charitable organizations serving underprivileged regions such as Ethiopia, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Ecuador with monetary funding and product donations
  • Awarding educational grants to foster biologics, spine and orthopedic research
  • Funding for CURE International in Haiti
  • Support for Faith in Practice and Knoxville Medical Mission Foundation efforts in Guatemala
  • Product and funding donations for Duke Orthopedics in Uganda
  • Employee fund raising efforts to support Donate Life, a U.S. based tissue and organ donation organization
